whaleshark

Here's a whaleshark "rhincodon typus" of a size of about 9 m (29.5 feet).

This magnificent animal is a quiet giant, totally harmless to humans, since it feeds only on plankton, krill, algae, small crustaceans and squids. Cartilaginous, it is the largest existing fish.

Since November 15, 2002, the species is protected by CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of wild fauna and flora threatened with extinction).

The encounter with such a giant is simply unforgettable.
